On puzzles

Puzzles really let you fuck around and find out. Like these two could fit together.. it's worth a shot at least, why not try on the off-chance that they fit together.

To be putting together a puzzle, certain you are assembling pieces of a tomatoes and strawberries. Certain you understand what the piece represents until you learn the truth and something in your brain clicks into place. (The same as when I am so sure I know we would all rather not see the delivery person only to realize I live in a different universe than my friends.)

My sorting algorithm for puzzles is:

1. Sort pieces into "edge piece" and "center piece".

2. Assemble border from "edge pieces".

3. Sort "center pieces" into groups by colour and/or pattern.

4. Subcategorize groups further by colour and/or pattern and assemble.

5. When there are few pieces to assemble, sort by piece shape where applicable.
